Kim Mittelstadt


Kim Mittelstadt, Founder and President of KM Impressions, launched Face it Cosmetics and San Antonio First Complete Custom Blend Mineral Makeup Bar and Image Studio. They have not only revolutionized the way women purchase makeup but educate them on how to create overall personal beauty from the inside out. 

Kim opened San Antonio’s First Makeup Training Center and Showroom for ColorLab Cosmetics where she trains both up-and-coming and experienced makeup artists how to custom blend, airbrush and retail their own personal line of mineral cosmetics. Kim began her career 25 years ago in the beauty and cosmetic industry where she received both her Cosmetology License and Professional Image Consultant Certification from the World Renown Fashion Academy. She was selected to participate on one of Santa Barbara’s leading artist teams in hair design training under the direction of a world champion hairstylist quickly advancing to managing one of their local California salons.  Kim pursued advanced training and certification with many of the top ranking makeup companies.

She continuously updates her education and training enabling her to stay current with the latest developments in her profession. She has trained hundreds of makeup artists in the art of airbrushing and traditional makeup application and has partnered up with Colorlab Cosmetics to offer custom blend makeup systems, training and support to beauty professionals. With her extensive experience and training she is able to educate her clients on how to choose their perfect colors and styles for clothing, cosmetics and hair color to create their signature style.

As a working makeup artist and color expert, Kim has always had the ability to draw together the elements of design and provide a complete look for her clients based on all aspects of image and style creating an overall polished look.  She has organized numerous fashion shows, and instructed many teen and adult etiquette and image courses throughout the country. 

She currently has a project in development that is geared toward Tweens and Teens.
